“I’m a big believer in positive thinking and visualisation,” she said.
She believes in goal-setting and having dreams.
Part of her visualisation process was imagining herself in the Big Apple, which is on her bucket list.
“The end goal was to be in New York. That’s the kind of feeling I tried to focus on,” she said.
Her prize for winning the title was an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas next year, where she’ll do a runway show.
From there, she’ll head to New York–fulfilling her dream.
The inspirational character works incredibly hard.
She works full-time at health insurer nib, owns Core Espresso in Darby Street and has a four-year-old daughter.
“I’m a big believer in being stronger than your excuses,” she said.
When she was younger, she competed inmany modelling competitions.
She was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia back in 2002.
She had the time of her life in those days, so she decided to compete again.
“I’m super busy, but I wanted to do something for me that I loved,” she said.
She claimed the lingerie title last Friday at Sin City Nightclub in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.
“Hanging out with beautiful girls and having an amazing time–why would you not want to do that again?”, she said.
“The fact I could still do it, took me a bit by surprise.”
